Tina L. Tipton from Pineville, Ky., was selected to receive the National Business Education Association (NBEA) Award of Merit for outstanding achievement in business education.

Thirty-six marketing principles students in Dr. Lee Allison’s class, created a Giveforward marketing campaign to aid two of their classmates. A devastating fire left Colton Scurry and Bryson Williams without home or possessions just prior to Homecoming.  While the two students were not physically harmed, they lost everything.

The American Marketing Association EKU Chapter is pleased to announce officers for the 2016-17 academic year.  EKU Marketing Club is a nationally recognized collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association. EKU is one of the three Kentucky universities which have collegiate chapters currently affiliated with American Marketing Association.

Two faculty members in the Eastern Kentucky University School of Business have been awarded an endowed professorship and chair.

Dr. Allen Engle, professor of management, has been named the Harold Glenn Campbell Chair in International Business; and Dr. Lee Allison, assistant professor of marketing, has been awarded the Karl D. Bays Professorship in Business.
