So it’s only fitting that an Eastern Kentucky University student won the 2014 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Collegiate Business Concept Challenge competition for his business venture idea centered on – you might have guessed it – ramen noodles.

Harpster wins Elbert Player of the Year Award for Second Consecutive Year

For the second consecutive year, PGA Golf Management student Mikal Harpster was awarded the Dr. Norb Elbert Player of the Year Award.

Harpster, a senior from Warrenton, Mo., received the 2013-14 trophy at a recent awards gathering from Ross Lingenfelder, PGA/GM Player Development Coordinator.

EKU's PGA Golf Management program is pleased to announce that Kelcy Diseroad has been selected as recipient of the S.J. Garner Student Excellence Award for 2013-2014. Kelcy is a senior Marketing, PGA Golf Management Option major from Martinville, In. She received the award at the PGA Golf Management spring awards ceremony in April.
