United Way's Nathan Thompson speaks to EKU SAM Club

The Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) at EKU hosted a special speaker at their Feb. 9 meeting.

Nathan Thompson, Director of Community Impact from United Way of the Bluegrass, visited with the group and answered students' questions about non-profits.

SAM promotes interaction with professionals in all disciplines and increases awareness and knowledge of career opportunities. It encourages cross-functional participation in activities that will benefit students' choice of career and future success. All business students are eligible to join. Regularly scheduled bi-weekly meetings include speakers, plant tours, fund-raisers, case competition, and if funds exist, trips to the National SAM conference.
