Robles receives 2012 Outstanding Educator Awards

Dr. Marcel Robles, Corporate Communication Professor in the EKU Department of Management, Marketing, and International Business, received two 2012 Outstanding Educator Awards: one from the Association for Business Communication – Southwest (ABC-SW) and the other from the Association for Business Information Systems (ABIS) at the Federation of Business Disciplines (FBD) Conference.

The President of FBD noted that this was the first time that one person received the Outstanding Educator Award from two different associations in the same year at FBD.

Dr. Robles has served in several officer roles, including President, of ABC-SW in the past; and she is currently the Editor for the Journal of Research in Business Information Systems. She also serves on the International Board of Directors of the Association for Business Communications.
