Dr. Vice was honored during a presentation on Friday, March 30, 2012, at the annual College of Business and Technology College to Careers senior recognition luncheon.

The honor is reserved for special alumni who have distinguished themselves in their professions through excellence, dedication, and service.

Her awards include being named the 1999 Kentucky Outstanding Business Education Teacher, receiving the EKU National Alumni Association Excellence in Teaching Award, and receiving an Outstanding Researcher Award from the Association for Business Communication-Southwest.

As an appointee of the Governor, she has served on the Kentucky Board of Education, which oversees the state’s K-12 education. She received the Commissioner of Education’s citation for Excellence. She is a member of the National Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi and serves on the Kentucky Council of Chief Academic Officers.
