MMAC selects Allen Engle as 2003 distinguished alum
EKU's Department of Management, Marketing and Administrative Communication is pleased to announce that Dr. Allen D. Engle has been selected as their departmental distinguished alum for 2003.
Dr. Engle was honored during a presentation on Friday, March 28, 2003, at the annual College of Business and Technology Professional Skills Conference senior recognition luncheon.
The honor is reserved for special alumni who have distinguished themselves in their professions through excellence, dedication, and service.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in General Business from EKU in 1978 and his Master of Business Administration degree, also from EKU, in 1980.
Dr. Engle completed his doctoral degree in human resource management with a doctoral minor in statistics and later returned to EKU as professor of management. His research emphasis combines human resource and organizational design in the international arena, and he has traveled globally to present papers and attend conferences.
Congratulations, Dr. Engle, on being selected as the College of Business and Technology 2003 Distinguished Alumnus representing the Department of Management, Marketing and Administrative Communication.
The college also honored distinguished seniors for the year as selected by their respective departments within the College of Business and Technology. In addition, recipients of scholarships and awards for the 2002-03 academic year were recognized. Students were honored for outstanding achievement and more than 40 area employers were on hand to engage in networking activities with college graduating seniors.
