2017 Supply Chain Executive Speaker Series Features Ben Robinson

Ben Robinson speaks to EKU School of Business students

EKU's Global Supply Chain Management program is pleased to announce its 2017 Executive Speaker.

Mr. Ben Robinson, Senior Sales Executive with C.H. Robinson Logistic, will visit EKU's School of Business on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017. He will speak in the Business and Technology Center Rogow Auditorium during the 11:00 a.m. class period to students, faculty, and staff.

Robinson graduated from EKU in 1989 with a degree in political science, minoring in business, and has worked most of his career in supply chain logistics services. His career spans multiple global firms including Consolidated Freightways, Emery Worldwide, UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Corning Incorporated, and now C.H. Robinson.

According to Executive-in-Residence Kirby Easterling, "We are excited to welcome Ben Robinson back to campus for our ongoing Supply Chain Executive Speaker Series. Ben is very professional, and I think most students will find his career journey very compelling - particularly in that it cuts heavily across both marketing and supply chain."

CH Robinson was founded in 1905 and is one of the world’s largest global logistics companies with over $13.5B in annual sales (NASDAQ: CHRW). The company specializes in selling supply chain services to firms that have elected to outsource their global logistics operations.

The event is free and open the public. All majors are welcome to attend. Bring your questions for Mr. Robinson and seek out advice - especially if you are an upcoming School of Business graduate.
