Global Supply Chain Students Engaged in Community Service to Support #EKUCares Initiative

Throughout the 2021 spring semester, EKU's Global Supply Chain Program promoted the #EKUCares Initiative within Supply Chain courses by encouraging students to engaged in community service projects throughout our region.  Here are a few of the ways students found to volunteer and give back to their communities across the Commonwealth.

On September 10th, Sarah Pitt, Vice President of Human Resources at Associations International, visited EKU’s Maroon SHRM chapter to discuss recruiting, HR roles, and answer student’s questions. Sarah has over 30 years of HR expertise and is the former Chief Human Resources Officer at EKU.

Laura “Jane” Reeves understands these challenges, and overcoming them.

EKU Global Supply Chain Welcomes Back Recent Graduates

EKU’s School of Business recently welcomed back three May 2018 graduates to campus to speak to James Kirby Easterling’s Global Supply Chain classes.  Connor Hill (Global Supply Chain), Teresa Smith (Global Supply Chain) and Sarah Ruth Beard (Marketing) all accepted positons as Buyers with Hitachi Automotive upon graduating last year.
