At first, he wasn't quite sure what was happening. PGM graduates were being called to the stage for their diploma covers. The first in line handed President Benson a Pro V-1 golf ball and placed a golf bucket on the mace table.

What followed was priceless. Each PGM graduate candidate in turn handed the President a golf ball, nearly filling the bucket. Graduate Michelle Goda tweeted, "My one shining moment! Thanks for playing along @EKUPrez."

The final event of the 2016-2017 Eastern Kentucky University PGA Golf Management tournament schedule, the Kincer Cup, ended the year with an incredible finish. For the third consecutive year, the North Team brought home the annual Kincer Cup prize. However, this year it was due to a victory in 2016. On Friday May 5th at the University Club at Arlington, each team battled through blustery conditions to a 4-4 tie, which meant the North Team would retain the Cup for 2017. The prized Kincer Cup is named after EKU’s PGM Director, Ms. Kim Kincer.
