Tina L. Tipton from Pineville, Ky., was selected to receive the National Business Education Association (NBEA) Award of Merit for outstanding achievement in business education.

EKU's Jones Cup Team Places Fourth in National Championship

Congratulations to EKU’s Professional Golf Management Program on their 4th Place finish at the Jones Cup Tournament in Port Saint Lucie, Fla., November 1-2, 2016. EKU shot a two-day team total of 603 (303-300), marking the highest finish to date for the Colonels.

EKU Students Give Forward to Help Classmates in Need

Thirty-six marketing principles students in Dr. Lee Allison’s class, created a Giveforward marketing campaign to aid two of their classmates. A devastating fire left Colton Scurry and Bryson Williams without home or possessions just prior to Homecoming.  While the two students were not physically harmed, they lost everything.

Sixty-nine students, freshmen to seniors, from the Department of Management, Marketing and International Business participated in the 3rd Annual Professional Development Workshop on Friday, November 4th.

The American Marketing Association EKU Chapter is pleased to announce officers for the 2016-17 academic year.  EKU Marketing Club is a nationally recognized collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association. EKU is one of the three Kentucky universities which have collegiate chapters currently affiliated with American Marketing Association.

Two faculty members in the Eastern Kentucky University School of Business have been awarded an endowed professorship and chair.

Dr. Allen Engle, professor of management, has been named the Harold Glenn Campbell Chair in International Business; and Dr. Lee Allison, assistant professor of marketing, has been awarded the Karl D. Bays Professorship in Business.

EKU’s chapter of the Society for Advancement of Management (SAM) becan the new academic year with a kickoff party on Tuesday, September 27th. SAM is the world’s oldest professional management society that is well known for preparing students for introduction into the professional management field.

EKU Phi Beta Lambda Kicks Off the Year with CityFest Service Project

EKU's Chapter of Phi Beta Lambda members are no strangers to hard work. And this year is not exception. They kick off the year with a community service project following CityFest on September 15th. CityFest is the only time businesses are given the opportunity to directly market their products and/or services on campus.
